  • Managing inventory and supplies
  • Coordinating with vendors and service providers
  • Generating reports and analytics
  • Managing tenant information and communications

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our service for any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Any activity that violates local, state, federal, or international laws
  • Fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes

  • Harassment, stalking, or threatening behavior
  • Discrimination based on protected characteristics

3.2 Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
  • Probing, scanning, or testing system vulnerabilities
  • Breaching or circumventing authentication or security measures
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Conducting denial-of-service attacks

3.3 Network Abuse

  • Excessive use of system resources that impacts other users
  • Automated scraping or data harvesting
  • Sending unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized users

3.4 Content Violations

  • Uploading or storing illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights
  • Defamatory, libelous, or false information
  • Adult content or sexually explicit material
  • Content promoting violence or illegal activities

3.5 Commercial Misuse

  • Using the service for purposes other than property management
  • Reselling or redistributing our services without authorization
  • Using the platform to compete directly with Hostwise
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to copy our software

4. Data and Privacy Responsibilities

4.1 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of all data you store in our system.

4.2 Privacy Compliance

You must comply with applicable privacy laws when storing personal information, including:

  • Obtaining proper consent for data collection
  • Protecting sensitive personal information
  • Respecting data subject rights and requests
  • Complying with data retention requirements

4.3 Tenant and Third-Party Data

If you store information about tenants or third parties, you must:

  • Have legal authority to collect and store such information
  • Inform individuals about data collection and use
  • Maintain appropriate security measures
  • Comply with applicable housing and privacy laws

5. Resource Usage Guidelines

5.1 Fair Use

You should use system resources reasonably and avoid activities that may impact service performance for other users.

5.2 Storage Limits

While we don't impose strict storage limits, excessive use may be subject to additional charges or restrictions.

5.3 API Usage

If available, API usage should be reasonable and not exceed documented rate limits.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them to us immediately:

  • Include: Details of the violation and any supporting evidence

7. Enforcement and Consequences

7.1 Investigation

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP, including reviewing account activity and content.

Violations may result in one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning and request for corrective action
  • Temporary suspension of service
  • Permanent account termination
  • Legal action if warranted
  • Cooperation with law enforcement

7.3 No Refunds

Accounts terminated for AUP violations are not eligible for refunds of any prepaid fees.

8. Appeals Process

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by:

  • Contacting us within 30 days of the action
  • Providing detailed explanation and supporting evidence
  • Demonstrating compliance with this AUP

9. Compliance with Laws

You are responsible for ensuring your use of our service complies with all applicable laws, including:

  • Fair housing laws and regulations
  • Privacy and data protection laws
  • Consumer protection laws
  • Employment and labor laws
  • Local property management regulations

10. Third-Party Services

If you integrate third-party services with your Hostwise account, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring those services comply with this AUP
  • Maintaining appropriate security and privacy measures
  • Complying with third-party terms of service

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to address new issues or clarify existing provisions. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.

12. Cooperation with Authorities

We reserve the right to cooperate with legal authorities and comply with legal processes, including:
